Overview

Blanks is a marketplace that routes AI compute jobs to independent GPU providers and settles payouts on Robinhood Chain. Renters book GPU time through the marketplace. Providers run the workloads on their own hardware and get paid in ETH, SOL, or $BLANKS on a 24 hour cycle. No long-term contracts, no leasing your hardware to a single buyer, no middlemen sitting between the job and the payout.

Two sides use the network. Providers are gamers with an idle RTX 4090, ex-miners with rigs still online after the last cycle, and datacenter operators with racked A100s and H100s. Renters are AI teams and independent builders who need GPU-hours at open-market prices without signing an enterprise cloud contract or waiting on a sales call.

Blanks is in active protocol development. Onboarding opens in waves, starting with a waitlist and a limited first cohort before the client and marketplace open more broadly. Nothing on this page is live unless it is explicitly marked as available to the current wave. Onboarding updates are posted through the X account @blanksmoney.

Architecture

Blanks is designed as three connected layers: escrow, scheduling, and settlement. Renters fund a job in escrow before it starts. The scheduler matches the job to an available provider machine and meters usage in real time. Earnings accrue per metered GPU-hour and settle to the provider's wallet in a batch every 24 hours. Renter funds stay custodied by the protocol until the work is verified complete.

Isolation

Workloads run inside isolated containers on the provider's machine. A job has no access to the provider's filesystem, browser, or wallet, and no path to anything outside the container it was assigned. You set hard caps on power draw, temperature, and running hours, and can kill any job instantly from the dashboard.

Settlement

Settlement batches every 24 hours. Metered GPU-hours across a provider's completed jobs are totaled, converted at spot into the provider's chosen payout token, and sent onchain to Robinhood Chain in a single transaction. Batching keeps gas costs low and gives providers a predictable payout rhythm instead of a stream of small transfers.

Rig requirements

Getting your rig onto Blanks means running the client on hardware that meets the minimum spec and setting your own price. The requirements below are the floor, not a guarantee of placement. Higher-spec machines with strong uptime get priority in the scheduler.

  • 100 Mbps down / 50 Mbps up recommended

Uptime

There is no minimum uptime requirement to join. Higher uptime machines get priority placement in the scheduler and access to longer, higher-value jobs, so consistent availability is the single biggest factor in how much a listed machine actually earns.

Pricing controls

You set your own price per hour, minimum job length, and availability windows. Undercut the market or hold your rate. Availability windows let your rig take jobs only during the hours you choose, so a bedroom rig and a rack can run the same client on completely different schedules.

Kill-switch and limits

You can cap power draw and temperature per job and kill any running job instantly from the dashboard. A killed job stops immediately and you are paid for the metered time already completed.

Payouts

Earnings settle on a 24 hour cycle. At the end of each cycle, a provider's metered GPU-hours are totaled and converted at spot into whichever payout token the provider has selected, then sent onchain to Robinhood Chain in a single transaction.

You choose between ETH (bridged), SOL (bridged), or $BLANKS (native). ETH and SOL settle at spot with no adjustment. Choosing $BLANKS applies a 15% payout boost, funded by protocol fees rather than token emissions.

The $BLANKS token

$BLANKS has one core utility at launch: the payout boost. Every rental on the marketplace pays a marketplace fee, taken from the renter side. A share of that fee revenue funds the 15% boost paid to providers who choose $BLANKS payouts, and backs the token.

Why the boost is fee-funded

Emission-funded boosts pay early participants out of future token supply, which dilutes holders as the network grows. A fee-funded boost only pays out what the marketplace actually earns from renters. It scales with real usage instead of a fixed emission schedule, which is the sustainability argument for building it this way.

Founding bonus

Providers who connect in the first wave lock in a founding bonus: a permanent addition to their payout boost for as long as they operate on the network. The exact size of the founding bonus will be announced at TGE.

FAQ

What hardware can I run?
Any modern NVIDIA GPU with 8GB+ of VRAM: consumer cards from the RTX 30, 40, and 50 series through datacenter A100s and H100s. Multi-GPU rigs are fully supported. AMD support is on the roadmap.
How do payouts actually work?
Renters pay into escrow when they book your machine. Every 24 hours, your accrued earnings convert at spot into your chosen payout token, ETH, SOL, or $BLANKS, and settle to your wallet on Robinhood Chain.
Why is there a boost for $BLANKS payouts?
Take payouts in the native token and you deepen protocol liquidity, so a share of marketplace fees funds a 15% boost on your payouts. It is funded by real fee revenue, not token emissions.

Is there an API?
Metering and payout APIs ship with the network beta. This page will expand with endpoint documentation once that phase is live.

Brand kit

The Blanks mark is the orb: a radial blue sphere with a soft top highlight. It appears at every size from a 20px favicon to a 400px hero visual without changes to its gradient or proportions.
